International Wholistic Missions Conference begins this next week. I fly out early Sunday morning.
Here is some about the conference (from their website):
OUR VISION: BE WHOLE IN JESUS.
…WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.
We’re for taking Jesus’ words seriously AND for acting on them. We believe that Jesus died as a perfect sacrifice for our sins, and he is restoring all of creation back into a right relationship with God. He came to save our souls, of course, but souls aren’t little subdivided containers of a person’s many facets. No, Jesus loves and restores every infinitesimal part of us, if we let him. He makes us whole.
OUR MISSION: HELP OTHERS BE WHOLE IN JESUS.
…LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.
That restoration shouldn’t stop with us. That’s what mission work is all about. We consider it our responsibility to carry the hope of Jesus to every last person on the planet. Our mission is to equip ministry leaders to do just that, with all of the awareness and know-how that it takes to love the ‘whole’ person. (http://www.wholisticmissions.com/about-2/)
